Read moreEggs are an absolute super food. While a quick goolge search offers a ton of recipes for egg-based topical hair treatments, I prefer to eat my eggs for good hair. The protein contained in eggs is HIGHLY absorbable and of high quality. Eggs contain many important B vitamins such as biotin - a super star for hair, skin & nail health (did you know biotin is also superb for maintaining healthy blood sugar levels?). Choline is another B vitamin that's contained in the yolk. Choline is important for a lot of functions in the body, and strong hair (and firm skin!) is one of them. Choline is also a powerful anti-inflammatory - read on to see why that matters.
Oh and p.s - worrying about the cholesterol in eggs is SO 1980's, so stop it. Eat the whole damn egg.
