Workshop Facilitation
I facilitate hands-on workshops for both kids & adults in the Niagara Region. This includes highly informative (and super fun!) classes in food preparation aimed at families who are developing an interest in their own health and in nutritious cooking. I also offer workshops in basic vegetable fermentation (for either kids, adults or both!), and I give support and guidance to those who are navigating new and special diets.
Fizz Ferments
In the spring of 2017, I co-founded a lovely local business called Fizz Ferments and created various fermented drinks & condiments inspired by locally available, in-season fruits and vegetables. I ran countless fermentation workshops and had tables at our local farmers markets, music festivals and craft fairs. While currently on hiatus, I look forward to continuing to share my know-how and recipes right here on the blog!
