Christmas Morning Mint Hot Chocolate

This is a lovely higher fat hot chocolate with a pinch of protein to keep you warm, festive and energized while you wade through wrapping paper, step on lego pieces and trip over doll houses on Christmas Morning!

Christmas Morning Mint Hot Chocolate

  • 1.5 cups full fat coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 scoop of your favourite chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  1. Over a double boiler, whisk together the coconut milk, cocoa powder and chocolate protein powder
  2. Add the maple syrup and whisk
  3. Continue to heat over the double boiler for about 10 minutes, until it has reached your desired temperature
  4. Stir in the peppermint extract
  5. Pour into your favourite Christmas mug
