Rooted is a celebration of everything that Niagara has to offer, from it's horticulture to it's impressive art and, of course, it's culinary diversity.
This event takes place over four specially themed weekends at the Gardens, with a wide range of workshops and family & kid friendly events (like puppet making with the Carousel Players and a Monarch release with Niagara Parks!).
Join us on either Saturday or Sunday, Sept 21 & 22 at 10am for a Sauerkraut workshop in the garden! Admission to our workshops come with either a weekend pass ($15) or a 4-weekend pass ($40). Both will give you access to a wonderful selection of events!

In November and December of 2016, I had the the pleasure of helping to facilitate several workshops within a series called Winter Wellness, with Project Share Niagara. Along with Jo Low, their Nutrition and Garden Educator, two wonderful Brock University students and my very talented workshop partner and nutritionist, Rebecca, we made all kinds of healthy goodies from baked goods and snacks to soups and samosas.
Beginning Monday, February 6, we will be starting round 2. This series will incorporate garden prep & seed starting, learning to sprout and fun and easy body care products - and as always, healthy snacks!
The workshops will run Mondays and Thursdays from 11am - 1pm.
